Staff members of Gregg Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

 Maxine Stallcup Gregg

 Maxine Stallcup Gregg
1914 - 2004

Following Jesse B. Gregg's death in 1974, the firm's tradition was upheld by Mrs. Jesse B. Gregg, the former Maxine Stallcup, until her death in 2004.

 

 Jerry D. Lewis
Manager/Funeral Director
Jerry Dwight Lewis is a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas. In 1964 Jerry graduated from Valley View High School then attended and graduated from the "old" Jonesboro Business College. Jerry served his country for 3 ½ years in the United States Air Force as a Chaplain's assistant in administration. In 1970 Jerry Lewis joined the Gregg family at Gregg Funeral Home as a funeral director. He has enjoyed many years of helping families in the Jonesboro area at Gregg Funeral Home. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the Arkansas Funeral Directors Association and the Northeast Arkansas Funeral Directors Association. In 2002 he served the Northeast Arkansas Funeral Directors Association as its president. Jerry is a member of the Otwell Christian Church, the American Legion and the Jonesboro Kiwanis Club of which he is past secretary. He is also a Mason. In his off time, Jerry enjoys working in his yard, trading cars, classical music, friends and just plain loafing around. Please feel free to contact Jerry should the need arise in your family.

Janet Rolland
Secretary/Receptionist
Janet Smith Rolland joined Gregg Funeral Home in August of 2006. She was born in Presque Isle, Maine but was raised in Monette. She is the daughter of the late Mary Hogan Smith of Monette and the late Roland Smith of Bangor, Maine. She graduated from Monette High School. She and her husband Mark have two children, Jered and Jamie and four grandchildren, Brittney, Ethan, Ashton and Brayden. Janet and her family are very active in their Church, Monette First Baptist and their community. Janet serves on the Monette Memorial Cemetery Board, Monette High School Alumni Committee, and volunteers with the Monette Volunteer Fire Dept., (which her husband is a fireman) and member of the Monette American Legion Post 136
